BASKET RAFFLE @DISTRICT CONVENTION

I have been asked by the District Governor to be the Basket

Chairperson for the Convention at East Mountain Inn. The

Date is April 30th -May1st. This year I thought I’d try something a little different; I am looking

for members in the District to serve on the Committee with me. I know I am always looking for

help, but this will give the meaning “WE SERVE” to our District. I would like to put down the

names and the times you work. Please either E- mail me GramaRO@aol.com or call me @

654.0003. I am also asking clubs or fellow Lions to not wait till the last minute to donate a

basket; call me at least 1 month ahead of time if your club is giving a basket. I will be there

April 30th to May 1st and really need your help. A lot of work goes into this project and I could

really use your help. Wouldn’t it be nice if every Lions Club in our district donated a basket?

LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION

To Lions of District 14-W:

Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) is the official charitable organization of Lions

Clubs International. LCIF funding is provided in forms of grants to support Lions-led projects.

These grants aid 1.3 million Lions world-wide in humanitarian efforts too large for individual

clubs or districts to fund alone. I am asking each Lion of our District to donate $20.00 to LCIF

to help support the foundation's primary philanthropic objectives:

*Preserving Sight *Combating Disability *Serving Youth *Providing Disaster Relief

Application forms are available from Governor Patty or by reaching me at 735-1381 or

emailing rsmariom@aol.com.In the spirit of the season give yourself a Christmas Gift this year

by becoming a Contributing Member for which you will receive a Contributing Membership

Pin. Wear it with pride.

Happy Holidays,

Paul Rose

LCIF Coordinator
